"In the last quarter of 2019 we decided to make a determined push toward becoming an accredited agency.  Our current personnel did not have much experience with the process so we started to explore the possibility of contracting out to a consultant.  We looked at a couple of different options but, decided to go with LEAS as they were going to supply the complete package.  LEAS came in and assessed our current policies and procedures and developed a plan to have the department accredited within 15 to 18 months.  Craig at LEAS sat down with many of our staff to get a better picture of our systems and operating procedures and developed plans and tailored policies to meet our wishes yet conform to PLEAC’s stringent standards.
