T2 Police Management Consulting

Chief Tim Troxel has been in law enforcement for almost 30 years. During that time he has worked for two municipal police departments in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition, Tim is a veteran of the United States Army National Guard, serving honorably for 10 years as a combat medic. 

Tim spent the first 26 years of his career working full-time for the Upper Moreland Township Police Department,  starting there in January 1995. While there, Tim served his first 10  years as a patrol officer. He then earned an assignment to the Criminal  Investigation Division, where he served as a detective for 3 years. He was then promoted to the rank of sergeant, serving as a patrol supervisor for 5 years. Tim was then promoted to lieutenant, where he served as a member of the department's command staff for 7 years. During his time at Upper Moreland Police Department, Tim also served on the regional SWAT  team for 23 years, starting as an entry team operator, then becoming a  team leader before eventually becoming a team commander.  

Tim then had the opportunity to become the chief of police for the Towamencin  Township Police Department, starting that position in January 2021.  

In 2023, Tim recognized that an opportunity existed for him to share his training, knowledge, and experience with other law enforcement agencies throughout the Commonwealth and began T2 Police Management Consulting.
